Brasil is going to have a strong presence at the Big 5, the Arab world's leading trade fair for civil construction. Organized by Apex-Brasil in cooperation with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, the Brazilian Pavilion is going to bring together 37 companies in the ceramic coatings, ornamental stones, bathroom metals, door locks sectors and others.

Visitors at the Big 5 will have an opportunity to become better acquainted with the huge Brazilian civil construction industry, which should post revenues of 92.4 billion reals (US$ 46.2 billion) in 2008. The Brazilian Pavilion at the Big 5 is going to occupy an area of 480 square meters in a privileged location within the fair, in the Main Concourse. Boasting an attractive unified layout, the Pavilion will have premises with products applied, in an innovative project by award-winning Rio de Janeiro-based architect and designer Ivan Resende.
